Thunder Mountain RockFest,  Rock Dakota Ranch, Sawyer ND

The Rock Dakota Ranch is southeast of Minot and north of Sawyer. It will host the three-day outdoor rock festival. Promoter Corey Hanson hopes to attract 5,000 people each day to an 80-acre area.

Artists: Asia featuring John Payne, Foghat, Sweet, Blood, Sweat & Tears w/Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, and The Guess Who. Friday, July 9: Nelson, Jani Lane (formerly of Warrant), Great White, Kix, Survivor and Night Ranger. Saturday, July 10: The Veer Union, Framing Hanley, Cavo, Egypt Central, Default and Hinder.

Camping is available, and 3-day passes are for sale now for $120.
